It was an interesting day of results in the Scottish League one yesterday. League leaders Ayr were held to a draw after taking an ealry lead at home to Peterhead. Albion Rovers beat Stenhousemuir 2-0 to bring them back in to the pack chasing promotion, Brechin got their second win of the season by defeating Cowdenbeath 2-0. Stranraer pulled themselves out of the relegation spot by beating Forfar 2-1 away from home and last but not least Airdrieonians got a 1-1 draw away from home to the bookies favourites Dunfermline. All in all the results have tightend the league and once again it proves that there are no easy points in league one.

Airdrie took the lead on eighteen minutes thanks to a strike from George Hunter, David Cox played him in. As the difference between full time and part time football began to tell Dunfermline got the eaqualiser with 15 minutes left on the clock Michael Moffat scoring with a header.
