Airdrieonians exit the Scottish League Cup after a very poor match against the worst Livingston team I've seen over the years. That tells you how bad we were.
Since the start of the season I've said to guys in my work that Jimmy Boyle should be given until the end of September to prove to us things have changed since last seasons debacle. Well i'm sorry but that will be to late!
Yesterday's game was enough, it's like he is purposefully trying to sabotage the club with his team selections and it's he is trying to fit a square peg in to a round hole. Without the courage to change the formation to suit the players he has available this team is going no where!
We're not even in to September yet, I still have payments to make on my season ticket and i'm already thinking of returning it and calling it quits.
To the match - two goals for Livingston either side of the break was enough to secure progressing, the first came from Andy Barrowman the second from Kyle Wilkie.
As you said, that was a poor livingston team, i think we have a better team, apart from the clown we have in goals, our team looked so low in confidence last night and that has to do with boyle, ballantyne has got to sort this out and it has to be now, i have said i would"nt be back after last season, but could"nt stay away, but sorry enough is enough for me, i work hard all week to get my money and im not wasting anymore untill boyle has been shown the door
I didn't think things could get any worse than last season
but oh how I was wrong!!!The fact that Boyle didn't come out
the dugout all night speaks volumes me thinks,as for the keeper I would show him the door right now,he should never play for the club again!!
Especially after challenging one of his own fans, pity he could"nt challenge for a ball in his box, he is the worst goalkeeper i have ever seen, useless @#$%& waste of space
I feel sorry most for Lister and Coult, they are working there @#$%& off and getting no chances what so ever. Midfield are creating nothing at all, there is no shape or balance .
Not had a decent midfield since we lost Stevenson.
Still fully believe that was due to our own eejits of fans that dished him abuse way back then, for whatever reason it was.
As for the game.
Hardie should've been taken off the second he went down injured. After it he shy'd away from every ball possible, and was part of the reason Coult lost the ball before their first goal.
Boyle's truly hopeless in terms of management so I believe he should be relived of those duties. As for the club as a whole, I think he should be giving a role to focus on our youth. Its proven we have the potential in the lower sides (Jordan Allan anyone ?), and believe this to be his strong point.
I'll be one of a few idiots to take in the Ayr game this weekend, but if we're played off the park again then I'll struggle to think of reasons to be back.

So you fully believe he left due to our fans abusing him?yet you admit you don't have any idea why he got abuse? But know that our fans are the "ejits" in the situation?......you've not thought this one through fully have you?
