A good game to watch, nice to hear the singing again.going forward we look good but the second and third goals we lost were really bad defending where was the keeper.but we'll done Airdrie for keeping going.bring on the Rangers.
Goalie - oh dear oh dear. Third goal was comical. Maybe second was defelected over him But he is ver very static and doesnt seem to want to come for crosses
Centre halfs far better than last week
Hay loooked good. Evans seemed quite effective in defence but will probably give way for O Neil
Hardie and Sinclair did well but both lie deep and neither blockley nor mclaren are that penetrtive.
REally like coult and lister
Draw was a fair result overall as both teams had chances: maybe we coould have shaded it
Wouldn't blame Stewart for the second but aside from that agree with all the above. Decent performance and result - and I thought O'Byrne looked a bit better too.
The more I see Coult and Lister the better they look. Coults pole dancing needs some work though!
I prefer Bain on right mid & Blockley through the middle. He's more effective in there. Keeper not impressing anyone & potentially been at fault for goals in each game so far. Worrying if he's the difference between picking up one point or three....
going forward we look very good. defending was terrible. for me willie looked decent and up for it for a change. wee ginger should be in the middle but decent away performance i say! good away day out.
Should have pushed on after going 2.1 up just after half time but lost two cheap goals Mcmanus allowed to run unchallenged for their 2nd goal. Our goalie not great at their third .Good fight back again to make 3 all .End to end after that with both teams looking for the winner.
Went at the last minute and enjoyed the match. It was end to end . Thought we started quite well but lost a goal with a well placed timed run through square defence. Great work by Coult to cross for Lister and good goal from McLaren looked like a win was on. We were not up the far end and it was hard to see how the deflected shot went in-the flat footed goalie might not have seen it either? The third was poor defending all around . Once again we equalised through Coult and bad defending by them. Had chances late on but I thought the team performed well-undefeated so far is better than any spell last season- but agree Blockley is not a wide right man. The highlights later might show more? Good number of fans there-hope the guy who fell down the terracing repair is ok!
Hope to god we look for another keeper, even if that shot was deflected he didn't have to stand there and just watch it go over him, he could've moved and saved it and that 3rd goal was dreadful, he has to take control and be dominant. Blockley still doesn't look fit to me and doesn't contribute much from wide areas. McLaren, Coult and Lister impressed again yesterday aswell as Sinclair I think we have a threatening attack this season. Hardie and Hay's experienced definitely showed at times and would like to see Hay sign. Evans, O'Byrne and McCormack were decent yesterday, solid for most of the game just at times couldn't cope with their midfield running at us with some pace. A draw isn't a bad start but would've won if it wasn't for that diddy Stewart, a win would be good next week.
Passed a few of them going into the plough inn as I drove out of Forfar-my days of boozing are long gone! Agree about a decent keeper but Jimmy has struggled here as in so many other keepers-cant think there would be many others out there now-did not really fancy the young Celtic goalie last season but at least it cant be Connor Fairley?
