It's back to league business as Airdrie travel to Dunfermline in the Irn Bru first division, the distraction of the cup over for a couple of week we once again find ourselves fighting for our place in the league.
Airdrie manager Kenny Black has sent Stuart Noble out on loan to Alloa for a month, depending on how that goes it could be extended. Having not made much of impression this season Kenny hopes it will give him a chance to get match sharp just when we could be needing him.
Depending on Kenny's plans for tomorrows match, he could go with David Nixon (defensive formation) or Matt Hazely (Attacking option) at right back, it's a catch 22 we can't afford to lose and we need the points, so do we go with the theory that attack is the best form of defence?
It's hoped Scott McLaughlin will also be available for the trip to Fife after a foot injury.
Paul Lovering also returns to training after being given the all clear from the specialist, tomorrows match will come way to early for him though.
Dumfermline are without three first team players Stephen Glass is sidelined for four weeks while wide men Kevin Harper and Simon Wiles are both out injured.
Jim McIntyre, Dunfermlines player boss is also sidelined with a torn Achilles.
