Leigh RMI boss Andy Nelson will be looking to mark his first competitive match at Hilton Park with another victory to maintain RMI's 100% start to the season. Despite their opponents have much the better of the play, and the better chances, on the opening day of the season, RMI came away from Redditch United with the three points after a 2-1 victory on Saturday, setting the ball rolling for Nelson on his competitive debut.

He'll be looking to make it two wins from two when Droylsden make the short journey from Manchester on Tuesday night, especially with massive games against Stalybridge Celtic and Barrow coming up within the next fortnight, with all of them vital to maintain good form, even at this early stage of the season.

After an impressive pre-season that saw them thump Macclesfield 5-1 and also beat the likes of Southport and Rhyl, The Bloods, as Droylsden are affectionately known, warmed up for Tuesday's encounter with a 2-2 draw at home to former Conference National outfit Nuneaton Borough, with Droylsden scoring a late equaliser to grab a share of the spoils and break Midlands hearts.

Chris Simm's confidence is sky-high after he got his goalscoring donkey off his back with the two goals that brought victory for RMI on Saturday, and he'll be looking to continue that good form, none the least to win over a rather sceptical RMI support that has been blessed in the past with the presence of Messrs Black, Jones, Twiss & McNiven in the striking department.

With optimism high after Saturday's victory and some pride finally being shown in the shirt once again, a few more people may be tempted to come down and watch their local side on Tuesday evening, and if the side keeps winning then there's not much more we can ask for!
