Vote for your 03/04 Leigh RMI Player of the Year!

Despite what has been a terrible season for Leigh RMI which has ultimately ended with likely relegation to the new Conference North division, there are several contenders for the title of Unofficial RMI Online's Player of the Year for the 2003/2004 season. Former Hamilton Academicals and Leeds United striker David McNiven is the hot favourite to win the title of Player of the Year after a prolific season which puts him in the top five goalscorers in the whole division.

However, he is likely to be challenged by Australian goalkeeper Ian Martin, who has had a good season deputising for long-term injury victim Gary Kelly after the sale of Stuart Coburn by former manager Mark Patterson.

Also looking to claim the title will be former Blackpool hard man Wayne Maden, with the former central defender proving to be a revelation in the heart of RMI's midfield, putting his body on the line for the cause of the club.
