Shakers set to listen to offers for midfielder

Bury manager Andy Preece has said that the Third Division outfit are willing to listen to offers for out of favour midfielder Martyn Forrest, who is currently on loan with RMI. Forrest has impressed during his trial spell at Hilton Park, however, RMI boss Mark Patterson doesn't have much cash at his disposal at may not be willing to splash the cash on a midfielder when there is a serious lack of goals from his strikers and his defence is struggling.

Forrest will continue to try and earn a permanent contract with Leigh when he lines up for the Railwaymen at Margate on Saturday.
