Leigh Genesis' Evo-Stik League Division One North home fixture with local rivals Prescot Cables, originally scheduled for this evening, has been allocated a new date having been postponed because of a frozen pitch.
As with other recent games, the Evo-Stik League allowed clubs to postpone fixtures early if there was no chance of pitches being playable, and as such the meeting with Prescot was postponed after an inspection at Crilly Park.
The fixture will now take place on Tuesday 8th March 2011 with a 7.45pm kick off.
Weather permitting, Leigh's next match will mark the first game under new manager Alan Kershaw when Bamber Bridge are the visitors to Crilly Park this Saturday (11th December) for a 3pm kick off.
