Former Everton defender Adam Farley joined Leigh Genesis on 4th October 2010 after serving a nine-month suspension from football following gambling offences committed whilst playing for Marine.
Farley made one appearance for Everton in February 1999 before joining Altrincham, where he was a team mate of Leigh boss Mark Maddox and assistant Gary Scott. Spells with Burscough and Droylsden followed before spending several years with Marine.
Farley's full Leigh debut arrived in a 3-0 home defeat to Salford City at Crilly Park on Saturday 9th October 2010.
After making nine appearances for Leigh, Farley left the club in December 2010 to join Vodkat League side Formby.
