Walshy gets things running!

Sports clubs up and down the country rely on people going the 'extra mile', and Leigh Genesis are no different in this, only on the 25th July commercial manager Andy Walsh won't be going a mile, and instead running 10,000 metres!
Having recently completed the Great Manchester Run in an admirable sixty five minutes, he has now turned his attentions to the Leigh Sports Village Legacy 10k Run on Sunday 25th July, less than three weeks after he will have celebrated his thirty fourth birthday.
The run will begin at Leigh Harriers' base at the Leigh Sports Village before ending in Pennington Flash Country Park, with donations to Andy's run going towards the continued ground improvements at Genesis' new Crilly Park home.

hi, did the 10k run in one hour 6mins, which is a little disapointing as i wanted under an hour, but i should have done more training to prepare for it!!!
AM KNACKERED!!!!
was proud to wear the genesis t-shirt amongst the people running with centurians and leigh east tops on!!!
along with my friends who ran for us am hoping to top the £700 mark which i'm really proud of.
