Leigh Genesis' reward for their thumping 3-0 victory over neighbours Ashton Athletic in the Lancashire FA Co-Operative Challenge Trophy is a Quarter Final tie away to Vodkat (North West Counties) Premier Division side Colne.
The draw took place at Lancashire FA headquarters in Leyland during the half-time period of the Bolton Wanderers Reserves vs. Burnley Reserves fixture on Monday evening and was conducted by LFA chairman Frank Parr and Burnley manager Owen Coyle.
While Genesis were 3-0 victors over Ashton Athletic, Colne, in eighteenth position in the Vodkat League Premier Division, ran out thrilling 4-3 winners over divisional rivals and neighbours Padiham at Colne's Holt House Stadium.

The tie is due to take place the week beginning Monday 4th January 2010, with the date and admission details to be confirmed in due course.
The winners of the tie will qualify for the semi finals of the competition, to take place at Leyland's County Ground, headquarters of the Lancashire FA, with the final taking place at Bolton's Reebok Stadium.
