Raphale rolls in

Leigh Genesis have bolstered their back four, covering for the upcoming suspension of Alex Cunliffe, with the loan signing of young defender Raphale Evans from League Two promotion chasers Rochdale.

A product of the Spotland youth system, 18 year old Evans made his Rochdale debut whilst still a youth team scholar in a league meeting with Shrewsbury Town last season, but has struggled for first team opportunities since turning professional, spending a period on loan with UniBond Premier League rivals Bradford Park Avenue earlier this season.

Evans goes straight in to the squad for tonight's game with Frickley Athletic.

Reckon we might get a couple of more players on loan from Rochdale, given that David Flitcroft (Garry's brother) is their assistant boss?
