Leigh Genesis look to recover from Tuesday's 6-0 defeat to Ossett Town when they travel to Derbyshire on Saturday afternoon to take on play-off chasing Ilkeston Town.

Hosts Ilkeston go in to the game in terrific form after cementing their spot in fifth position with a hugely impressive 1-0 victory away to high-flying Hednesford Town in midweek, the same evening that Leigh were hit for six against Ossett.

The two sides last met at Chorley's Victory Park in August when two goals in the final five minutes sealed a 2-1 victory for Ilkeston, managed at the time by former Bolton Wanderers and Sheffield United defender David Holdsworth, who has since been appointed manager at Blue Square Premier outfit Mansfield Town.

With Danny Morton still sidelined with the rib injury he picked up in last weekend's 3-1 defeat to Guiseley, deputy Dean Porter is likely to remain in goal, while recent signing David Roberts will be pushing for a starting spot up front ahead of either Chris Thompson or Phil Marsh.

Kick off is at 3pm at Ilkeston's New Manor Park ground on Saturday.
