Kendal Town-Leigh Genesis fixture postponed

Leigh Genesis' UniBond Premier League away fixture with Kendal Town, scheduled to take place tomorrow (New Years Day), has been postponed after the recent freezing weather in Cumbria meant that the Lakeland Radio Stadium pitch failed an inspection this afternoon.

No new date has been confirmed for this game.

It means that Leigh's next game, weather-permitting, is the UniBond League Challenge Cup Third Round tie away to Ashton United, this coming Saturday (3rd January) with a 3pm kick off.
