Tuesday evening sees Leigh Genesis make the short trip down the M6 to face eighth-placed Nantwich Town, with Steve Bleasdale's side looking to secure their third victory in seven days after Saturday's 2-0 win over Frickley saw Genesis claim back-to-back wins for the first time this season.

Playing in their first season at UniBond Premier League level after winning promotion from Division One South last season, Nantwich have enjoyed a successful start to the campaign, their only defeat coming in their first outing of the season, a 2-0 reverse away to Hednesford Town.

Since then, Nantwich have been impressive performers with 4-0 victories over both Worksop Town and Kendal Town, although maybe such results paint an unrealistic picture of a freescoring side when considering that the Dabbers have failed to score in their past three hours of football after successive 0-0 draws with Marine and Whitby Town.

Genesis manager Steve Bleasdale has had to contend with a number of injury worries in recent weeks, with Richard Chetcuti, Darren Mansaram and Jerome Fitzgerald missing from the side that defeated Frickley Athletic 2-0 on Saturday, although Bleasdale was handed a boost on Saturday with the return from injury of defender Andrew Teague and exciting winger Jerome Watt, who scored his side's second goal at Stainton Park on Saturday.

Nantwich boast two former Leigh players in their ranks, with Dave Tickle being joined at Nantwich in the summer by midfielder Robin Gibson, who scored three goals in twenty two appearances for Leigh last season, and has proven to be an astute signing for the Dabbers.

Admission to the Weaver Stadium (junction 16 on the M6, followed by the A51 towards Nantwich) costs £8 for adults, £5 for concessions and £2 for juniors, with kick off at 7:45pm.
