Pre-season news

Although we are still awaiting news of any further signings for Leigh RMI in the build up to the new season, a former Hilton Park man is on the move to a Blue Square North rival, while there has finally been confirmation of RMI's first pre-season friendly.

Former Leigh striker Neil Prince, who has most recently been playing for Blue Square North rivals Stalybridge Celtic, has joined Southport as the Haig Avenue side continue to rebuild following their relegation from the Blue Square Premier.

Meanwhile, RMI's only pre-season friendly to date is to take place away to Lancaster City on Saturday July 21st with a 3pm kick off.
