Saturday afternoon sees Worcestershire outfit Redditch United, the first side that RMI did the 'double' over in the Conference North last season, make the long trip to Hilton Park. Saturday's 3pm showdown is RMI's third game of what incredibly is already becoming yet another miserable season, with RMI's grand record of two defeats from their first two games, despite taking an early 1-0 lead in both of those games.

Visitors Redditch arrive at Hilton Park with a similarly poor record, losing 2-0 at home to promoted Blyth on the opening day, before falling to a 2-1 defeat at Droylsden on Monday evening.

RMI boss Andy Nelson has got a big task on his hands in trying to convince a sceptical Leigh faithful that he is still up to the job in hand, with more than a few baffling aspects of team selection, tactics and substitutions in recent games, with several players being inexplicably played out of position.

Even at this early stage of the season, the pressure is growing on the team and the manager to start producing results before things really do make a turn for the worse.
