St. Helens Town vs. Leigh RMI

Plenty of Leigh sides have played at Knowsley Road down the years, but it will be RMI and not the Centurions that make the trip to St. Helens tomorrow night for their second pre-season game in a week. The short journey to St. Helens is a very simple one when travelling from Leigh. Get on to the East Lancashire Road (A580) and travel towards Liverpool. From the A580 turn off for St. Helens at the traffic lights at the junction with the Rainford bypass. Take the B5201 (Bleakhill Road) & follow the signs to Pilkington Glass Museum. The stadium is signposted for “St. Helens RLFC” is on the right hand side as you turn into Knowsley Road. There is limited car parking available at the ground, but there is plenty of street parking in the vicinity of the stadium.

There are also regular trains from Wigan North Western to St. Helens Central, where the ground can be reached by bus, taxi or on foot.
