The Rumour Miill goes hand in hand with football and there is noe escaping some of the rumours regarding Hibernian Football Club, some of them make you want to laugh. PART 1 Some of the stories that have come out of Easter Road regarding Hibernian Football Club have been quite laughable although I have to admit some of them have had me worried at times. Before a ball was even kicked in anger this season all the rumours were regarding who was going and who Bobby fancied signing, De la Cruz was always a favourite to go after having a decent World Cup and his agent was in the paper every day with details as to who was going to sign him, eventualy Aston Villa stumped up we are lead to believe £1.75M for his services, and it does disapoint me to say it looks like he may have flopped. The next player out the dor came as bit of a shock as it was one of my favourites bug Ullie laursen, the first most Hibees knew about it was when it was splashed in the paper that Celtic had made a bid a leek that came from Celtic!! Big Ullie was away for £1.25 Million and that came with only days to the start of the season, Signings were going to have to be made and they were Matty Jack resigned and Big Mixu came back from France to play for Hibs, not realy the signings the Hibs gans were to expect but this was the start of Hibs tightning their belts and was how things were to continue.
