West Bromwich Albion boss Roberto Di Matteo believes that midfielder Graham Dorrans is close to a first team call up if his recent improvement in form continues. The Baggies gaffer claims that he is baffled by the young Scotsman's slow start to the season, but hopes that last terms Player of the Season finds his best form again soon.
As the Baggies prepared this week to overcome the 3-0 defeat to Stoke last weekend, Di Matteo could be looking to Dorrans to provide fresh options in midfield.
Dorrans has shown vast improvements during training, and has begun to show off some of the inspiration which attracted summer transfer window bids from West Ham.
Dorrans has remianed a fans favourite at the Hawthorns, and supporters and fellow players alike would welcome the return of the Scotsman to first team action.
