No sooner had West Bromwich Albion been promoted after Saturday's 3-2 victory at Doncaster Rovers, was Chairman Jeremy Peace was revealing the clubs spending policy for next seasons Premiership campaign. The Baggies Chairman revealed that the clubs plan was to "be positive but remain relatively prudent"* when it came to splashing the cash.
But this is Albion's fourth promotion in 8 years, and Peace's attitude to spending money has not gone unscrutinised in the past. He has in recent years become the fans scapegoat and held ultimatelty responsible for the yo-yo reputation that Albion have made for themselves.
So this week WBA Baggiesworld wants to know what you think...is Peace's plan to "Keep the club solvent while trying to compete successfully at the highest possible level"* a realistic one? And if he fails, will it ultimately be the end of him as far as Albion fans are concerned. Is this Jeremy Peace's last shot at the big time with the Baggies?
