Storm in a tea cup over between Di Matteo and Koren

After a rather public spat between West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo and midfielder Robert Koren, peace has at last broken out between the pair after the 29 year old midfielder bagged a vital goal which helped keep the Baggies in the draw for the FA Cup 6th round yesterday. Twice behind at Championship strugglers Reading, Koren netted Albion's first equaliser after conceding in just 7 seconds.

The pair had been at logger heads after Koren had refused to shake the bosses hand after coming off for a second half substitution during last Tuesday's game with Scunthorpe United.

Roberto Di Matteo had labelled Koren's antics as 'selfish' - leading to a five day spat between himself and the midfielder who wasn't even meant to be part of the starting eleven on Saturday.

Koren, who would have started the game on the bench had it not been for a pre match warm up injury to Slory, grabbed Albion's first equaliser after it had taken Reading just  7 seconds to grab the lead.  The Baggies looked set for a 5th round exit until Joe Mattock grabbed a last gasp equaliser in the dying seconds of the second half to earn them a Hawthorns replay.

West Brom will face either Aston Villa or Crystal Palace in the 6th round if they overcome Reading in next weeks replay.
