New Zealand striker Chris Wood got all his Christmases together in December 2009 when he penned a new three and a half year deal with a one year extension option in the clubs favour. An offer which he was quick to gratify when he scored West Brom's second goal at Huddersfield in the FA Cup last weekend.
And the 18 year old has been quick to state that he hopes for a long and fruitful career at the West Midlands club.
Wood scored his first ever goal for the club in September 2009 in a 3-1 victory over Doncaster Rovers, and the absence of long term injury burdened Ishmael Miller has presented Wood with a number of opportunites - mostly as substitute appearances, to prove his worth to the fans.
