Two of the divisions favourites for a top six finish go head to head this afternoon at Bramall Lane. Sheffield United entertain promotion hopefuls West Bromwich Albion this afternoon with both sides having made unbeaten starts to the season. Sheffield United currently sit two points behind the Baggies in the table.

For West Brom midfielder Robert Koren is expected to have over come his midweek knock in time to start this afternoon, but Chris Brunt who picked up a similar calf strain is expected to sit this one out.

Jerome Thomas is likely to play a part in today's game after over coming his illness, whilst Gonzola Jara is still awaiting international clearance before he can feature.

Sheffield United expect to be without Brian Howard, who missed the fixture against Reading last weekend because of tonsillitis.  Keith Treacy is the Blades only other injury concern after limping off the field of play against Reading.

Sheffield United are unbeaten in their four league games so far this season, but they have not managed a five game unbeaten start since the 2003/04 season.  West Brom are unbeaten in all five of their games so far this season.
