West Bromwich Albion have today been linked with a potential move for unsettled striker Marlon King. The Wigan striker is believed to be seeking a permanent move after becoming unhappy with loan spells at Middlesbrough and Hull City, and could provide the perfect solution for boss Di Matteo who is believed to be seeking cover for the injured Ishmael Miller.
Miller, who started pre-season training with the rest of his team mates after a lengthy injury spell, has suffered a repeat of the injury which has already kept him out of action for over 6 months. It is believed he could remain absent until Christmas.
Marlon, 29, could provide Albion with the up front cover that they require to begin the new season in less than 2 weeks time.
