French Ligue 1 side Nancy have called off their friendly game against West Bromwich Albion. The game was due to go ahead at the Hawthorns on Saturday 1st of August, and would be the Baggies final test before the start of the season a week later.

But the French side who were also set to face London side Crystal Palace during their stay in England have called off their games over here due to the increase in Swine Flu cases.

In an official statement for the club they deemed the risk as unnecessary, and will now play fellow French sides in their pre season warm up.
