Miller faces fresh injury woe

West Bromwich Albion striker Ishmael Miller has suffered a further injury set beck which could delay his return to the first team by several months. Miller, who hasn’t played for West Brom since December 2008 after picking up an injury to his cruciate knee ligament in a clash with Portsmouth’s David James, could now miss the first half of this season after repeating his injury in training.

As team mates made the journey Slovenia for pre season training, Miller remained at home nursing his recent injury which could keep him out of action for several months.  Miller has under gone fresh surgery to correct the problem for a second time. 

New boss Di Matteo said that it was a blow for the striker, who has been desperate to make an impression on his new head coach.  Whilst no length of time has been given for Miller’s fresh injury setback, team mates believe the former Manchester City player could be out until the new year.
