Tony Mowbray will have to deal with a mounting injury crisis at the Hawthorns this afternoon as his Premiership side prepare to take on Championship side Burnley. It is a game that Albion will be looking to win, but will approach with caution after seeing Burnley's striking performance against Tottenham Hotspur midweek.

Striker Roman Bednar is re-available for selection this afternoon after serving a ban and missing last weekend's 3-0 win over Boro.

Mowbray has a host of injury problems at the back, with Meite, Olsson, Zuiverloon and Barnett all absent through injury.

Also missing through injury this afternoon are James Morrison and Luke Moore, who both have hamstring strains to overcome.

Steven Caldwell and Steven Thompson are expected to return for Burnley after missing the midweek League Cup clash with Spurs.  But Stephen Jordan is absent with a knee injury with Christian Kalvenes likely to stand in.
