Half Time: West Brom 0-0 Spurs

Tony Mowbray's men may well have drawn a blank as far as goals are concerned in this first half, but three points are there for the taking after an eventful first half which saw a handful of yellow cards and a sending off for Spurs. Referee Steve Tanner has Morrison and Brunt in the book for Albion, and Dawson for Spurs. But the game took a dramatic twist in the 34th minute with a sending off

Spurs defender Assou-Ekotto was dismissed from the game in the 34th minute after a studs up challenge on Gianni Zuiverloon.

With Spurs down to ten men, and opting for a 5 man midfield with lone striker Bent up front, Mowbray's men are presented with a perfect opportunity to grab all three points.

But they will need to be more precise than in the first 45 minutes, after a series of half chances failed to produce any goals for either side.

Spurs edge the possession so far with 53% to Albions 47%.
