West Bromwich Albion kick off their Premiership campaign in style tomorrow lunchtime at the Emirates Stadium. Hosts Arsenal will entertain the Baggies in front of Sky TV cameras, with a kick off time of 12.45pm. This will be the Baggies first visit to the Emirates as they seek to reverse the fortunes of their last Premiership fixture versus Arsenal at Highbury in 2006 where they lost 3-1.
The Baggies will be without midfielder Robert Koren and striker Luke Moore, who picked up knee ligament and thigh injuries respectively during Albion's pre season training programme.
Summer signing Gianni Zuiverloon will also be absent from the Baggies squad as he is away on olympic duty.
Abdoulaye Meite, Albion's most recent signing from Bolton Wanderers for £2 million looks likely to start in place of Neil Clement who is suffering with a knee problem.
Arsenal have a number of players sidelined for tomorrows fixture, most notably Cesc Fabregas, who joins striker Eduardo, Amaury Bischoff, Tomas Rosicky and Phillipe Senderos on the sidelines.
The Gunners £12 million summer signing Samir Nasri will make his full debut after recovering from knee and thigh complaints, and Kolo Toure is also likely to feature in the squad.
Visit us tomorrow for full team news as it is announced.
