In a must win game for Tony Mowbray's men, the Baggies go into half time a goal down. Its been a mixed half of football which has seen Albion edge the early stages of the game, enjoying at times up to 70% of the possession. But a goal for Blackpool in the 34th minute has given the Seasiders a goal advantage at the break.
Albion started the half brightly, and have had the majority of possession. However chances for the Baggies have been limited, and when Ben Burgees took advantage of a Stephen Crainey right wing free kick to head home past Dean Kiely, Mowbray's men found themselves a goal behind.
In other bad news for the Baggies Tony Mowbray was forced into a 27th minute substitution, injury to Martin Albrechtsen seeing him replaced with Leon Barnett.
Blackpool have enjoyed the best of the half since their goal, seeing a swing in the percentage of possession with the Seasiders enjoying nearly 60% of the play.
