FIA Announces 2008 Formula 1 Entry list

With the launch season about to descend, Friday afternoon saw the FIA reveal the entry list of the drivers and 11 teams for the 2008 Formula 1 season. There were no major suprises and the Panasonic Toyota Racing team will be racing with the number 11 (Jarno Trulli) and 12 (Timo Glock) plates for the season.

World Champion Kimi Raikkonen will be naturally racing with the number 1 plate while Ferrari's main 2007 challengers Mclaren Mercedes will taste life at the other end of the pitlane due to spying scandal with numbers 22 for Lewis Hamilton and 23 for Finn Heikki Kovalainen.

Super Aguri has not officially revealed it's line up for 2008 but Anthony Davidson and Takuma Sato's names appear on the list for the Honda powered team.

Force India has the only available seat left on the list which is rumoured to be going to Italian veteran Giancarlo Fisichella
