Hull Kingston Rovers v. Leigh Centurions preview

The Robins

The Centurions begin their National League One campaign for this season when they make the long trip to New Craven Park to take on Hull Kingston Rovers tomorrow evening. An already tough trip has been made even harder by the news that free scoring full back Neil Turley misses the game through damaged ankle ligaments to join an already lengthy injury list. Also certain to miss out is hooker John Hamilton certain to again miss out through a hand injury.

Centurions coach Paul Terzis is sweating on the fitness of former St Helens and Great Britain forward Sonny Nickle, who faces a fitness test along with former Warrington half-back Willie Swann and young scrum half Lee Sanderson.

Leigh centre Dale Cardoza misses the clash after picking up a two match suspension following his sending off in the shock defeat against Chorley Lynx a fortnight ago in the Arriva Trains Cup.

The game kicks off at 6pm, whether or not it is completed is subject to the integrity of the famously poor floodlights at New Craven Park.
