Former Swinton Lions head coach Phil Veivers won't be Leigh Centurions assistant coach this season after all, after it was confirmed he'd left Hilton Park and moved to a leading Super League club.
Veivers has left Leigh to join Brian Noble's coaching team at Bradford Bulls barely a month after he joined Leigh to replace Norman Turley.
Centurions head coach Paul Terzis has acknowledged that it is "certainly a blow to our preparations" but Terzis believes that Veivers is a "good coach and during his short-time with us I feel he has already made an impact, particularly with our younger players."
I'm sure Leythers are feeling let down, and not the first time. Good luck at the Bulls, Phil
