Leigh Centurions preparation for Saturday's Grand Final has been severely dented after a three month ban was given to a Leigh player following a positive drugs test.
Centurions and Wales second row forward Chris Morley has been banned for three months after traces of the banned substance Ephidrine were found in a urine sample given earlier this month.
Morley, who's brother Adrian won the NRL Grand Final in Australia this week, will miss out on playing for Wales against New Zealand at the Millennium Stadium next month if the ban isn't reduced or overturned.
Leigh have said that they will not be appealing and as far as they are concerned the matter is closed.
Ephidrine can be found in many cold rememdy's and other health care products although it can be found on the RFL's list of banned substances although it isn't said to have any positive effects of a player's performance.
