Final day at Barcelona

The third and final day of the test in Barcelona was warm and sunny once again. Jenson Button continued his running in chassis RA106-02. He began the morning working on the general set-up of the car and, having found a good balance, he ran through a tyre evaluation completing 64 laps in the session. Rubens Barrichello also concentrated on chassis set-up work in RA106-03 during his morning programme, completing 54 laps in total. Due to a trapped nerve in his shoulder, he sat out the afternoon session with Anthony Davidson taking over in chassis 03. Anthony successfully ran through the planned tyre evaluation, completing 69 laps.

Jenson worked through a short aero evaluation during the afternoon, alongside some chassis set-up work. He completed a further 68 laps in the session bringing his final tally for the day to 132 laps.
