Jenson Button and Takuma Sato joined the team in Barcelona this morning for the second day of BAR Honda's test, with the weather conditions returning to very hot and sunny. Jenson had a productive morning in chassis 007-06 running through a front aerodynamic evaluation. He completed 70 laps in the session. He continued to work through the comprehensive aero programme in the afternoon, completing a further 54 laps to bring his final lap tally for the day to 124 laps.

Takuma ran through a tyre evaluation alongside a brake programme in chassis 007-03, completing 63 laps in the morning session. He spent the afternoon session looking at Suzuka tyre compounds, concentrating on longer runs. He also ran through suspension set-up work. Takuma completed 124 laps today.

James Rossiter continued his familiarisation running in the 2006 development car. He completed 59 laps today setting an impressive lap time of a 01:16.19. Adam Carroll will take over the car from James tomorrow.
