BAR Honda are helping out with the Asian Tsunami relief effort, donating car parts and driver related goods to our good friends at pitpass.com, to be auctioned off on eBay.

The pitpass auction, raising money on behalf of Oxfam for the international aid effort, has already managed to raise nearly £4,000. BAR Honda have donated a driver cap signed by Takuma Sato, as well as a front wing end plate from the 2000 model BAR002 - chassis number 020 - signed by Jenson Button.

F1 Garage have also donated a signed poster of Jenson crossing the line at Malaysia, grabbing his first ever F1 podium finish.

Other items on auction include a Jordan front wing end plate, a signed Renault rear wing end plate, a set of Renault overalls signed by Fernando Alonso, and two balcony spaces at the Monaco Grand Prix, complete with hospitality.

You can start bidding on the items here, or by clicking through from pitpass.com.

In other news, the FIA has launched an international appeal fund through its network of 160 national clubs in 120 countries world-wide.

Max Mosley has written to the Presidents of all the FIA clubs around the world to inform them of the appeal and to encourage donations to assist with the international community's relief and rehabilitation efforts.

The FIA itself will also contribute directly to the appeal fund.

This follows news that Ferrari driver, and seven times world drivers champion, Michael Schumacher has personally donated €7.5 million (about $10 million).
