Anthony Davidson returned to the testing action on Friday, taking over from Rubens Barrichello in chassis RA106-06. He had a very productive morning, completing an early aero evaluation before working through a tyre programme with Michelin, completing 83 laps.
James Rossiter continued his running in chassis RA106-02 for a second day. He spent the morning session concentrating on a series of electronic system runs before also moving onto some tyre work, completing 55 laps.
Anthony had another very good session in the afternoon completing a further 77 laps. He worked on a short aero programme alongside long run tyre testing, again on the China tyre options. Anthony completed a very impressive 161 laps today, setting the fastest time of the day – a 01:16.676.
James continued with his morning programme into the afternoon as he also worked on a tyre evaluation looking at the Chinese Grand Prix tyres and continued the electronics system checks from the morning session. James completed 53 laps taking his total for the day to 108 laps and setting the second fastest time – a 01:17.008.
