In a bizarre move the Neath-Swansea Ospreys have released a song, it takes a "dig" at the 3 remaining regional sides. For the lyrics, story and quotes read on

The Ospreys wrote the lyrics themselves before approaching Swansea-based comedian Paul Allen to put a song to the words.

And the region claim the song is nothing more than "light-hearted banter" aimed at increasing the atmosphere at matches between the Welsh regions.

But the string of insults, some of them extremely personal, are likely to incense their rivals, who could demand an apology.

Dragons chief executive Andy Marinos said, "We feel it is totally inappropriate to knock benefactors who have contributed so much to Welsh rugby when it has been required most.

"What the Ospreys are doing leaves a very sour taste in the mouth especially when we are working hard to build relationships in and between the regions.

"We do not need throwaway comments like these. It merely invokes hostility."
