| Question: Warriors Player Of The Season? | ||||||||||||
|
The Winner - Neil Jenkins
With 282 points with the Boot in his final season, Jinks had the most telling contribution in the Warriors successful season, it included a period of 40 or so consecutive kicks which is remarkable. On so many occassions he effectively led the side to victory. Thank you Neil
Runner Up - Cory Harris
"I haven't seen him do anything?" Probably not, this workhorse best efforts normally go unseen, he is always first to the breakdown and his tackle count is always spectacular, when in attack he will always be on someones shoulder. A terrific season
Third Place - Chris Horsman
"Horse" has been strong as an ox all season, the scrum has been effective thanks to him, he is Welsh qualified next season and boy do we need him.
Fourth Place - Jon Bryant
"JB" has had a mixed season, started off slowly but came into his own and his MOTM display against Leinster was special, led the side for a large chunk of the season.
Fifth Place - Richard Parks
Did his best work early on when playing out of position at no8, did well and unlucky not to get Welsh honours, lost a bit of form towards the end of the season but don't worry he will be back
Others To Get Votes
Deniol Jones - Great towards the end of season, rewarded with Welsh call up
Gareth Thomas - "Alfie's" display against the Blues at the arms park was awesome
Richard Mustoe - Young Musote showed what a talent he is for the future, terrific tackling and puts his body on the line.
