EAST STIRLINGSHIRE 1 (Kelly (7 pen) MONTROSE 4 (Wood (2), Michie (24, 70 pen), E Smith (37)) Montrose struck early though Wood against the league's basement team and survived a Kelly penalty equaliser to finish the game as a contest at half-time with goals from Michie and Elliot Smith. Michie knocked home a second half penalty to finish the job.

Cowdenbeath's draw with Albion means that if they lose to Stranraer in midweek, next Saturday's home game against the Blue Brazil will be a "six-pointer" with the winner claiming fifth spot in the league.
