Rhyl have added the League Cup to their trophy cabinet, just 48 hours after clinching their first Welsh Premier title. They did so by thrashing Carmarthen 4-0, in a one-sided game at Newtown's Latham Park. Top scorer Andy Moran was again the Lilywhites hero, firing a hat-trick in yet another impressive display. Striker partner Chris McGinn added a late 4th in the 87th minute, but Rhyl's colours were seemingly on the cup after just 8 minuted, when Moran fired home the Pirates' first.
