Barry Town Chairman, Stuart Lovering (left) has revealed big plans for his seemingly-relegated Dragons. In an interview with www.uefa.com , Lovering announced his highly ambitious plans to develop Jenner Park into a "new 40,000-capacity stadium which generates money and to build Barry into a European club."

The lifelong Cardiff City supporter, is a successful businessman who saved Barry from folding completely before Christmas, when he paid off 10% of the Dragons' £1.5million debts owed to creditors.

Despite a complete overhaul of both playing and management staff, little has improved on the pitch, although the Yellows did secure their first win of the season last month, in a dramatic 5-4 win over fellow strugglers Welshpool Town. New manager Colin Addison will need to perform a near miracle if he is to save the Welsh Premier champions from an embarrassing fall from grace.

Even if Barry do fall to the Motaquote Welsh League, Lovering has pledged to fight on with his plans for the club. "I have always dreamed of running a club", he said "The club just needs the right marketing and its past success will be a huge benefit." 

Popular with both players and supporters alike, Lovering is an ambitious and committed, if overly-optimistic chairman. Barry Town official Webmaster, Ian Johnson, summed up the fans' thoughts: "Stuart Lovering's plans are both exciting and innovative - he is the man to make the good times return to Jenner Park once more."

With good facilities and a strong boardroom don't bet against an immediate return to the Welsh Premier for the Dragons, if their fate is sealed in the next few weeks. There's still light at the end of the tunnel for Barry fans, and that is largely due to the money and commitment of Stuart Lovering.
