Welsh Premier clubs were told by UEFA Lawyer Marcel Benz that they have until 2006 to meet new UEFA Licensing criteria, at a meeting in Caersws on Tuesday. Aberystwyth chairman Donald Kane, told BBC Wales' 'Mid Week Sports Special' that the meeting had proved 'more productive than he had hoped'.

Kane explained that if the top 3 clubs grounds were not up to scratch then the 4th, 5th or 6th clubs could then represent Wales in their place. However, it is understood that clubs who do not meet criteria will still be able to compete at other stadia that do.

So, by 2006 every Welsh Premier club must have:

1) 500 seats
2) Hard standing around the pitch
3) Club doctor on call at all games
4) Professional stewards
5) Purpose-built police control room
6) Press room
7) Photographers' room
8) Drug-testing facilities.
