T.N.S. have responded to claims that they trashed Aberystwyth's away changing rooms following last week's Premier Cup game at Park Avenue, by claiming a faulty shower was the root of the problem. The TNS official site, www.saints-alive.co.uk has admitted that Aber's changing rooms were left in a mess following the team's goal-less draw but claim the dressing room was flooded before the players had arrived for the match.
TNS officials claim "There was a leak in the showers and, as the shower floor is at the same level as the changing room, a flood had occurred. Manager Ken McKenna and physio Gordon Evans did their best to clear up the mess sufficiently to allow the players to change without drenching their clothes"
Aberystwyth Officials stated that they would be writing an official letter of complaint to T.N.S, although TNS have not yet received any correspondence from Park Avenue. However, an Aberystwyth official has assured www.welsh-premier.co.uk that secretary Rhun Owen has written a letter and that it is in the post.
