T.N.S Manager Ken McKenna, was full of praise for his players  following their 2-0 defeat to Manchester City at the Millenium Stadium. But after a European high, the Saints return to the bread and butter of the league today with an attractive looking clash with old rivals Bangor City. It seems likely McKenna will stick with the same side from Thursday's UEFA Cup defeat. Midfielder Ricky Evans returns, after completing a 2 match ban following his pre-season sending off at Vauxhal Motors. The red hot striking partnership of Paul Gedman and Ross Jeffries looks like again being utilised as the Citizens aim to seek revenge following last season's 4-2 defeat at the Recreation Ground on the final day.

                                 T.N.S.  3 - 2  BANGOR CITY

An extremely hard one to call. Bangor have scored 10 goals in the last two games and should be full of confidence. New striker Paul Gedman will be keen to score past the club who surprisingly released him this summer. Alarmingly for Bangor, his early season performances, and goals, have already made him one of the Welsh Premier's most scouted, and wanted players - especially as he is free to leave the Citizen's at any time.

Although T.N.S. fell to a heavy UEFA Cup defeat, if they can take all they've learnt from a playing a side of Man City's stature then they should be able to comfortably brush most Welsh Premier sides away. The Saints made hard work of beating a spirited Cwmbran side last Saturday, and Ken McKenna will be keen to see his side improve in front of goal.

Don't be surprised to see Paul Gedman and Simon Davies amongst the goals - with both players aiming to sink their former clubs in this early season six-pointer.
