Paul Underwood will miss crucial games against Darlington, Bristol Rovers and Scunthorpe United due to a niggling heel injury that has worsened recently.
Rushden and Diamonds captain Paul Underwood is facing a month on the Nene Park sidelines because of the heel injury that has kept him out since the defeat against Bury. Manager, Brian Talbot confirmed that Unders will have a scan on the heel on Thursday. Talbot said, "It's either a stress fracture of the heel, or it's deep bruising. We are not really sure. But it does like as if he will be out for the next four to six weeks."
Meanwhile, Gary Setchell is relishing his recent first team oppurtunities and continues to impress in Underwood's left back position. However, Diamonds fans will be hoping that the inspirational club captain will return soon rather than later.
