North London D-Day

Jolly Day for Spurs

Oh yes its here the North London Derby, the biggest derby of all across the world of football. (ok might be stretching it but I’m sure all fans from dark side would agree as well). The atmosphere has been building and the predictions of this being a crunch game for the last Champions League place have been right on the money. Some of the following has already been spoken about on the board however I think we need to focus on a season of great progress rather than the ultimate result of today’s game first.

I would like to take the pressure of the team by just remind all fans of a few facts, first we never expected to be challenging for a CL spot this season, so that is a bonus in itself, but being this far into the season and still having something to play for is also an achievement not encountered for a while, yes we have challenged for a UEFA Cup spot but we have never played this well throughout the season for a long long time, counting some great wins plus a few glorious comebacks.

Secondly I think we would have accepted a UEFA Cup spot this season without a doubt, so finishing 5th is not shame.

As for today, every yid in the land will be glued to their TV sets, radios and internet streaming & mobile phone just getting as much info through from Highbury as they can muster. If you have been lucky enough to get a ticket then I’m sure you are about to see something amazing happen at Highbury.

Today is the day where hero’s come and make themselves counted. Today is the day for the bragging rights to be decided, today is the day the yids visit Highbury for the last time, let’s make it loud, andlet’s make three points. Today is the day Champions League fate could be decided.

Are your Goosebumps going crazy ? I know mine are.
