Spurs yesterday waved goodbye to football nice-guy (unless you're a Blue Peter fan) Sir Les Ferdinand as he signed a contract with West Ham. Spurs yesterday waved goodbye to football nice-guy (unless you're a Blue Peter fan) Sir Les Ferdinand as he signed a contract with West Ham.

It is believed that Ferdinand was released on the free from Spurs and has signed till the end of the season, with view to extend for a further year.

Ferdinand is determined to help West Ham avoid the drop although he has a hard task ahead of him.
